Well, I feel a little bit guilty now after all those mean (but so true) facts about Paris . I do not want to discourage you… And Paris has a great side too tho. So please, let me explain you why you should go in Paris at least once in your whole life…
Winter:
– Because the Christmas lights of the Champs Elysées and of the Galeries Lafayette are the most beautiful things I have ever seen (Way better than the Rockefeller Christmas Tree, sorry guys…)
– The sales in January after your christmas-grandma-money-gift are the best !
– The train works all night long during the New Year Eve night
– The weather is not as bad as in NYC
– The warm terrasses of the cafés are so great with a warm coffee and a cigarette
– The the « Salon du chocolat » and the « Salon de l’agriculture »
Spring
– Sitting by the end of the day at the same terrasse, drinking a beer with your friends.
– May is the best days-off month where you may work only 10 days
– (It is my birthday !!!)
Summer
– Paris is empty
– Best sales ever again !
– Music Day and all the festivals start
– Bastille Day !
– The French Open
– Le tour de France
Fall
– Back in school…
– Concerts’ season !
– Best season for your outfits
Plus the « must-see » cliches and stereotypes: Tour Eiffel, Notre Dame, Montmartre, etc etc etc (you have the Michelin’s Guides or other blogs for that)
